Dear Fellowship Family,
Between the time our update was written and the time it was sent to you this afternoon, the CDC updated their group meeting guidelines from 50 to 10. We have been trying to follow CDC directives, as mentioned in the previous email, but this is a moving target! With this latest guideline in place, we are now recommending that community groups not meet until further notice. I’m sure most groups aren’t meeting because I trust the discretion of our leaders and the wisdom of their groups. Sorry if this caused angst or confusion for anyone. I am all for doing whatever we can to halt the spread of this disease as quickly as possible. CDC: How To Protect Yourself
Dear Fellowship Family,
The Elders met on Monday evening and determined that Fellowship will suspend all public services and gatherings over 50 until further notice. Small groups may continue to meet at the discretion of their leader and group, but as this crisis evolves, listen to what the CDC and other governing authorities suggest. We want to do our part!
Service Videos & ResourcesUntil we are able to meet publicly again, we will provide each congregation with full video services of worship music and teaching from the Clarity series. I’ve heard of some who are planning to invite extended family or neighbors to watch the services with them.Lastest Services

GivingI do want to remind you of the need for giving consistency during this time. Our staff is still working hard, maybe even harder, to conduct the business of the church. Last weekend, tithes and offerings were half what they normally are for this week of the year. Granted, offerings may be delayed as many will mail their gifts to the church, but I want to be proactive in reminding us not to neglect the opportunity to worship through our offerings, even when we can’t attend services. This is a great opportunity for you to set up electronic funds transfers at our website. This convenience has helped us maintain a more constant and dependable level of giving over the past 16 years. Each year, participation has grown.
I’ve shared with many of you that it would likely take “pain” to awaken our nation from its slumber. Covid-19 is a definite source of pain and has affected our country like nothing else in our history. This is an opportunity for Fellowship to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus in the lives of those around us who do not know him. God uses difficult circumstances to draw us to Himself. I pray that during this time, the people of Fellowship will listen to the prompting of the Holy Spirit and reach out to others in creative and significant ways. There are hurting people all around us who are disillusioned and afraid. Our hope is found in Jesus, “the author and perfecter of our faith.” (Hebrews 12:2) Isaiah told the people of Israel that “God would be the sure foundation of their times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge.” (Isaiah 33:6) The principle remains the same for us because “Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)Our hope is secure. God bless each of you.Mickey Rapier

Navigating a new church can be intimidating, but we’re here to help you feel at home! It’s as simple as walking through the door, and we’re here to help you with the rest.
We all need to be known, loved, and surrounded by others who will encourage and support us as we navigate life and grow in our faith. We believe this happens best in the context of a small group - a place to belong, grow, and serve within our cities and neighborhoods. Children experience small groups during their services on Sunday mornings, and students and adults gather in small groups in homes throughout the week. We want to help you flourish in your season of life and small groups are foundational to accomplishing this in a meaningful way!
