How to Follow Jesus in College
Description: Jesus invites everyone everywhere to “Follow Me.” So, how exactly do you follow Jesus, especially in college? From navigating friendships to sharing your faith, in this study we will learn from Jesus through the book of Mark exactly how to follow him in college.
Panorama of the Bible
Description: This study takes participants through a broad overview of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation using a timeline of twelve sessions. Each session provides key people, places, and events in scripture via a chronological flow to give students a deeper understanding of the Biblical storyline.
Rhythms: Spiritual Disciplines
Description: Paul tells us in Galatians that the Spirit will produce fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control in our lives. In this same passage, we are commanded to “walk by the Spirit” and to not “gratify desires of the flesh.” This study walks us through practical disciplines for keeping in step with the Spirit and finding fruit-producing, God-honoring rhythms in our lives.
Christian Beliefs: A Systematic Study of Theology
Description: What we believe affects how we live. Knowing the foundational Christian doctrines and beliefs is essential for having an appropriate view of God and His creation. This study will dive deep into specific topics such as the Trinity, Sin, Election, and Heaven using Wayne Grudem’s 20 Basics Every Christian Should Know.
Apologetics: A Reason for God
Description: Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ is a command that every Christian is called to actively live out. The way in which we come alongside someone depends heavily on that person’s worldview and lived experiences. As we go through Tim Keller’s, A Reason for God, we will take a look at the common grievances people have towards the Christian faith, and ways in which to respond. This study is not only great for the nonbeliever but believers who are wrestling with doubts of their own.
A Study of Revelation
Description: The book of Revelation has intimidated Christians more than any other book in the New Testament but promises that those who hear it, read it and follow what is written will be blessed. Spend a semester making sense of images that have often confused us and see that Revelation is ultimately an encouragement for believers about God’s past, present, and future plan for the Church, sin, and death.
God’s Plan for the World: A study on Missions (meeting in Fayetteville)
Description: Discover God’s Word, God’s World, and God’s Work through this Xplore study from the Center for Missions Mobilization. The study will expose the current state of world evangelization by looking at the major world religions and unreached people groups. Students will learn about God’s heart for all peoples by studying the biblical basis of missions while examining five habits to lead believers into a World Christian Lifestyle.

College CR Step Study (Men Only - *this group meets on Thursdays)
Description: This Step Study small group will meet weekly over the course of the 2022-23 school year and is geared towards helping us work through whatever hurts, hang-ups or bad habits are causing trouble within our lives and relationships. We will work through the CR Step Study material (“The Journey Begins Participant's Guide Vol 1-4"), and through that, we’ll let Christ help us reveal and deal with issues in our lives that have become heavy baggage. Whatever you might be going through, we know at Celebrate Recovery that freedom from the shame, guilt, and pain of your past is possible by learning to surrender it to Jesus and walk with Him – one day at a time!
