Bentonville Women's Study: Abide in Christ
Duration: Wednesdays | September 15 - November 18 | Morning and Evening option
Cost: $5 for materials
Format: In person & virtual
Childcare: Not available
Description: The parable of the Vineyard in John 15, is the basis for this study. Fruit is what God is after and is the natural result of our divine union in Christ. In fact, Jesus told His disciples in this parable, we cannot do anything of value apart from abiding in Him. That alone makes it imperative that we understand what abiding means. We will look at the role of the Vinedresser, (God); the role of the Vine, (Jesus); the role of the branches, (us); and the role of the Sap, (Holy Spirit). We will learn what makes for authentic fruit and what is false fruit. And finally we will learn the joy in truly “Abiding in Christ”. This class is taught by Diane Sanabria.
