Special Needs & Disability Ministry

Every person is an integral part of the body of Christ.

Our desire is to serve families impacted by disability. We have ministry opportunities available for all ages, from birth to adulthood. We believe all should be invited to know the love of Christ and use their gifts to serve Him.

Enable

At Fellowship Fayetteville, the special needs and disability ministry is called Enable. We want to enable every person to:

Know and experience the authentic Christ.

Find Christ-centered community through our church.

Use their gifts to serve within our church no matter their abilities or disabilities.

We also want to enable our body of believers to see each person’s value and contribution to the betterment of our church.

All Are Able

At Fellowship Bentonville we believe all are able to:

Know and experience the authentic Christ

Find Christ-centered community through our church

Use their gifts to serve within our church among their peers

We also desire for our body of believers to see each person’s value and contribution to the betterment of our church body.

Our ministry exists to provide a Gospel-centered, inclusive environment for participants with special needs. We want to serve these individuals and to partner with their families as they participate in the life of the church.

In most situations, we use the buddy system - where the participant is matched with a buddy who will provide individual care in a classroom of peers or in our Special Needs & Disability Ministry area.
Our 7-12th grade students have the option to participate in Fellowship Student Ministry worship and teaching time. Students also have the opportunity to attend a cell group with their peers during the week. If a buddy is required for either setting, please talk to the Special Needs & Disability Ministry team and we can find a plan that best works for your student.

During the 9:00am service, students may choose to participate in a small, structured class facilitated by Special Needs & Disability Ministry.
During the 9:00am service, adults experiencing disability can attend a community group facilitated by Special Needs & Disability Ministry.

Special Needs & Disability Ministry participants have the opportunity to use their gifts to serve the church body during the 10:30am service.
